"The books are sewn onto a linen and goatskin leather flange ... attached to the spine and board goatskin. The boards are covered in burr walnut veneer with black inlay strips and square onyx cabochons. Lizard skin bands cross the spine of the book. Edges are contoured with acrylic. [Issued in box] covered in stained veneer with inlaid panels of burr walnut and black veneer strips ... Lined with velvet. Patinated brass hinges."--Dealer's description.
